This month for the bee blocks, Tanya wanted a very simple bow tie block.  I had forgotten how effective and simple bow tie blocks are.  They are a great way to use up scraps in your bins too.  No wonder some of those quilty forbearers made bow tie quilts with their bits and pieces of fabric.

My blocks are pretty much solid with a low volume background.  Since I was having so much fun making these blocks, not to mention using up fabric, I made three of these instead of the normal two blocks.
