Once the center is together, then it is time to add borders. Two solid borders and then one scrappy border using the remaining left over pieces of fabric. All in all it is a very attractive quilt top and I am very pleased with it. Now to think about how to quilt it!
This blog is the collision of my hobbies (scrapbooking & quilting) as well as my professional interests.

Wilmington Floral Quilt
As you can see I have the quilt laid out and now it is time to sew it. I really like how it has come together with the soft cream Mikado print that has a subtle gold line in it and the black, grey and cream prints. While the pattern is a bit piecing intense, it is straight line sewing and easy enough to make but a little boring.
