Poems and Pictures

Every once in a while on the A Quilters Table blog, Debbie will post a photo that has some writing on it.  Its often simple yet moving.  So in that spirit, I decided every once in a while I would do the same.  I was reading a book of prayers from the Celtic today at work, and found a simple prayer about growing in small spaces or difficult spaces and thought it was a good metaphor about life.

Little did I know that particular prayer would suit the day.  I had a particularly busy day seeing folks, mostly people making huge shifts in their life, dealing with pain and adversity.  I guess the reminder for me is that even in the midst of such situations there is hope and joy to be found.  If one looks for it.
