Hopscotch in Brown

Hopscotch

Last fall I bought a fat quarter packets in a brown color way from Robert Kaufman at my LQS. This was not your average run of the mill cottons, by the way.  There were touches of gold, and satins as well.  I had a pattern that I had picked up previously at a quilt store in Moose Jaw, by Atkinson Designs, called Hopscotch. I thought the two would go wonderfully together and I wasn't wrong.  Add a bit of quilting and you have an awesome quilt. 

I was running out of daylight and my photo does not really do justice to this lovely quilt top. I most definitely will be making this one again, just a bit bigger than a lap size which this brown version is.
