When Twin Fibers first posted the
Mod Times Quilt I knew I wanted to make it. Thankfully I was not alone in that desire and shortly a quilt along tutorial was posted, saving me the pain and struggle of having to figure it out for myself. It took me a while to find the fabric that I wanted to use but one day I happened to be in the fabric section of
Capital Iron and saw they had the pink version of Patti Young's Sanctuary line. Since I really like the green/aqua version (used it in another QA) I decided to give it a whirl. I would have preferred to use a solid green Kona in a apple green color but was 1/2 m short and had to resort to this other print to be the lines. The other Kona fabric is a pale pale pink called Pearl Pink.

The quilt went together very easily, and the directions were clear to follow and the photos were very helpful. My only regret is that I didn't double the pattern and make it lap size. Hmm, I might have to make another one in a different print and background. Flickr is showing some finished tops and the one with a patterned background by Linzsews offers great representation of what a patterned background would look like. Yup have to make another one!
