Finally Fall

Well the leaves are turning, the air is nippy and now we have had the first hard frost.  I actually had to scrape the windshield this a.m. instead of wiping away the moisture.  I will be glad when we have a few more things unpacked, the shed built and garage ready to park the cars in.

With the start of fall, I also have started some of the baking for Christmas, loving the second freezer to store stuff away until mid Nov- Dec. Today I made macadamia bars with eggnog icing, marmalade muffins and an apple caramel bundt cake.  I can't wait to try the later tomorrow at church.
I also have been quilting madly (at least last month), and finally got some quilts to bind and some table runners made for Christmas. Here are some that I finished up last month.

Lots of pink quilts.  But balanced with this green one called Riding the Rails to Hawaii.
I call this one Sunset Daiquiri

I also went to Trisha Ladocouer's card making course at my local scrapbook store, Scrapbook Parade.  That was fun and stimulated some creativity to make some cards for Christmas and other events using up scraps and other bits and pieces around the house. Hopefully this will make some room for other stuff still in boxes.
