Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians. I am writing from Garrison Petawawa where I have been relaxing and enjoying the sights of the Ottawa River. Its pretty hot here, well over 30 degrees and that is before 10 am.
The base is pretty quiet with most people having five days off. Me instead of flying home, stayed here and decided that I needed to finishing sorting out my room and get some sewing done. Not very exciting but certainly good for the soul and sets me up to get through the rest of the week.
I can't wait for the fireworks tonight!
