January joy quilt top

After arriving home early in February, I gathered all my blocks from the January joy at do good stitches, pressed them all and laid them out. I often take photos at this stage of the game to put it in perspective and to see if there are any layout changes that could be made.

I am so glad that I went for the coral, grey and pink tones. It looks fantastic with the block that is simply HTS around center block.  I only wish I could keep it rather than give it away.  I may have to put this on my make for me list.  It would be great as a scrappy quilt using up all those HST's that may be laying around.

Next job?  To tackle the quilting of this baby..
