Fabric Heaven

I had the most wonderful day.  Not only did I get to hang out with the DH but I also got a new outfit and new quilting fabric.  It was so nice to take an hour and wander thru The Cloth Castle checking out the new fabrics and picking up a few things to finish off quilts that are sitting partially done or needing binding fabric.

And did I ever score on fabric and I didn't even make it to the upstairs where they told me they have quilting cottons on sale for $5/meter.  I wonder if I need some backing fabric?  They also got in the blue color way of Tula Pinks Saltwater fabric.  Since she has a free download of her new patterns on her blog, it was perfect timing.  My next job is to go and take measurements for a quilt top that the husband saw on her blog while looking over my shoulder the other night.  Its not very often that he mentions," Hey that would work in that room...."  Since he did, I guess I better put that on the to do list.  I wonder if I can get it done over Christmas?

So wanna see what I bought? The photo below will allow me to finish three quilts with three of those fabrics.  The elephant fabric is pure selfishness on my part - I had to have it.
