In preparation for Sunday I spend many hours readings, praying and study the scripture for that week. Some weeks I get lucky and things come together easily. Then there are those nasty weeks when the text and I just can't gel and other work obligations get in the way. That is where I am so glad that I have online resources or dad who is working on his own sermon who often will throw me a bone to get started.
I have a wonderful congregation and its a joy to worship together on Sunday. Lets hope the spirit is speaking to me as I work on the sermon!
