The Roaring 20's
Every fall to welcome the newcomers posted to Garrison Petawawa, the mess has a Welcome Party as a mixer. Usually this has a theme and this years was no different. The theme was the Roaring 20''s. Now if I was going I would have sewn up a costume but I did not go. Instead I got to make a costume for Dana. Using some old curtains, various trims and a dress found on an emergency trip to Value Village we came up with this costume.
We lucked out with finding the dress in a perfect shape and fit. And the trim, who would have thought that the bargain bin would have such lovely trim to add to a dress.
Add to this an awesome necklace, gloves and fascinator and fur stole, Dana had an awesome outfit to fit the theme of the evening.
